I am a new owner of a 10yo pool. In a small section of pool i see dirt falling from under the edge, what could be the reason and how can i fix this?

Can you attach some pictures of the dirt and the pool? If this is an above-ground pool, it could be rust from the top stabilizers, top rails, or plates. Have you physically touched the dirt? Does it feel like dirt or rusty bits of metal or sand?
