I need some help with my sand filter. I connect everything I believe correctly but the walls of my sand filter tank keep sucking into itself. Has anyone ever had this happen? And how do I fix this issue? Its a Hayward Sand Filter for an above ground pool.

Thank you for contacting Inyo. I've only seen that happen if something wasn't hooked up correctly. There should be a hose running from the skimmer to the intake of the pump. Then there should be a hose running from the pump discharge to the filter valve port that says "pump" or "inlet". Then there is the final hose that runs from the "return to pool" valve port back to the pool return jet.
