Hello so I have an fnsp 60 de filter and I just replaced the whole filter grid assembly and manifold. After I fired it up and started putting scoops of de into the skimmer I saw a cloud of de coming out of the return. Is it normal to see a little de get through or is there something wrong with my standpipe or mpv.

Hello Nolant1998 - Assuming the new grids and manifold are ok, the next area of concern would be the standpipe or standpipe o-ring. If the o-ring has a kink, is cracked, flattened or stretched it should be replaced. The part number is 4657-26. The standpipe assembly will need to be replaced if it is cracked. Part number 190037 is the correct standpipe assembly for the Pentair FNSP60.
