Have had a Hayward, and one even older Goldline Aquarites. Both programmed virtually identical. Got a CrystalPure when the Hayward controls died and the cell was close to the end of life.

The Aquarites could be menued to see the instantaneous salt concentration if the cell was actively generating. Same wiht the CrystalPure. The Aquarites would update the instantaneous reading maybe every 3-5 seconds until it settled in to the actual concentrations passing the cell at the time. The CrystalPure seems to take much longer, like 15 seconds or more, to do the same. The Aquarites could be pushed to transfer the instantaeous reading to the timed average reading by selecting Max Chloronation for 5 seconds and then Auto. CrystalPure does not seem to provide that feature.

Afte storms a week ago, my salt concentration dropped, as expected, when the pool diluted with rain and the extra water went into a designed overflow to the city storm sewers. I had used the tables of salt to add to put in half of hte needed salt expecting in a day or so of 8-10 hour pump/filter running to raise the salt reading. But after several days, the timed average reading has not changed even though I can get an instaneous that has shown some progress. I hesitate to add more salt because I do not want to drain some water should I over salt.

Is there something I am not doing right to get the timed average salt concentration reading to update?
