I have a 16x32 in ground liner pool that is roughly 8’ deep on the deep end with no safety ledge. I’m looking to fill it in to about 5-6ft on that end. I just want to make sure that all I do is add sand to the desired depth, take new measurements and install a new liner

Yes, you can use sand to shorten the depth of the pool. Just make sure it's compacted and smoothed out. You'd then take the new measurements for a custom inground vinyl liner.
You can email a Custom Inground Liner Form to upload@inyopools.com and we can get you a quote.
