Last  year, we purchased a 24" Sand Filter and a Purline Variable Pump (Order Number: 878908) for our 28,000 gallon pool.  Because it runs 24hrs/day, I am going through a lot of tablets and thinking about an autochlorinator.  Not sure if I want an inline or offline but what do you recommend?

Thanks

I prefer the inline chlorinator because there are fewer parts that need to be replaced. Inline chlorinators require that you cut out a piece of the plumbing in order to glue it in place.

The benefit to the off-line is that you do not need to cut the plumbing. You simply drill a couple of holes and connect hoses with saddle clamps.

If you go inline, we recommend the Rainbow 320 (pictured below). We recommend the Rainbow 300 for offline installations.
