I need a new pool cleaner to replace my 15 year old Polaris 280. I have a 20000 gallon in ground pool with several large oak trees over the pool. Pool is kidney shaped.
What is the best automatic pool cleaner for my situation?

If you want to go with something that runs on a booster pump like the 280, we'd recommend the Pentair Legend model LL505G.
Personally, I like the robotic style cleaners that run independently from the pool system. The one I recommend is the Dolphin Explorer E30. It has a good-sized leaf canister that can hold a lot of oak leaves. Check out our review video below.
