Upon starting my pump for the first time this year I am seeing a lot of bubbles coming out of the jets in my pool, besides that I am also having issue with the pump priming after shut down, any ideas ?

Hello Gene - It sounds like you have a suction side air leak. Check out our article titled "Why Are My Jets Not Working". It has several tips on where to look for common air leak sources.
