Hi Guys, I purchased a new "to me" (40 years old) home about a month ago. It has a fantastic in door, inground, saltwater pool. The equipment sat for years untouched and pool was not used. Two owners ago used pool area a storage.

Last owner was a flipper who screwed up everything they did, including installing a Raypak 266A pool heater. All pool equipment is inside the enclosed pool area is in a mechanical area. Unfortuanately the flipper did not have the cumbustion air actuator wiring installed on the the heater.

Years ago I used to own a HVAC company so I'm knowlegable about the actuator. I'm just not sure where to pick up 24vt off the Honeywell valve from. I''l pick up 24 volts, run it to actuator motor and NC switch. When actuator fully opens, it will close the NO switch and give me power back to the valve.

For the 3 wires on the Honeywell valve I need help knowing knowing what each does?

R/BK

Y/BK

V/Bk

Which is 24vt common

which is 24vt to operate valve

What's the 3 wire's purpose?
