Thank you for contacting Inyo. Yes, you can convert an above ground pool to salt water. It may void the warranty of the pool, especially if you have steel top rails. Pools with resin top rails seem to hold up better with the salt water.
If you do decide to convert, we recommend the AquaTrol or Crystal Pure salt systems.
